He'd met the boy by chance. Just because this kid was smart, and observant– so much more than all the staff members; this boy —Gregory— he'd noticed there was something different about him, that he wasn't like the other endos, and it'd taken a bit, but it'd clicked in the boy's mind after seeing purple ears painted on an endo on a wall.
"You're Bonnie," the boy'd whispered, and he'd never felt such relief before. He lacked the features and voice box to show it, but he was so happy to be recognized, especially with the way he looked now.
After that, time was a blur, the boy'd slowly began putting him back together. Finding his parts scattered around, his head first, then his torso, the casing for his hands and arms; it was only his legs missing now, the main obstacle to overcome, that and a glitchy voice box that made it hard to speak to Gregory. He could sort of move without the casing for his legs, but his steps were slow, metallic joints shaking, threatening to give in with each step as he leaned onto the nearest wall for support. Gregory was faster, walking ahead and rounding a corner, talking to someone.
"Don't worry, I've got your back!" the voice came like a kick to the gut. No matter how long he'd spent away, there wasn't a single doubt in Bonnie's mind who it belonged to.
Being transported wasn't something Bonnet was a stranger to, it'd happened a couple times, from where she'd been made to the first pizzeria she'd performed at, then to another location, and now to a new one. But this was the first time she'd ever been transported alone.
The pizzerias didn't need two bunnies, and as much as Bon Bon and Bonnet were a duo, they didn't have much of a choice when the deicsion was made to send her away. The bright side was that now she'd apparently be the only bunny in a new pizzeria, and that meant at least she wouldn't have to doubt if she was the favorite bunny anymore! The pizzaplex, as she'd heard it be called, was much bigger than the other locations, Bonnet couldn't wait to meet all the children and new animatronics.
She really couldn't. Bonnet had never been too patient, and she'd been in the loading dock for *two days", locked in a box, that was a record of patience. Perhaps she'd have been able to wait longer if she hadn't heard footsteps, little quick footsteps that were light enough for her to register them as a child's. Long rabbit ears perked, and she pressed her face against the board keeping the box shut.
"Helloooo..." she called, hearing the steps stop. "Little one? Can you help me out? I've been here for two days and my battery's low."
Gregory gave a step away from the box, turning to his Fazwatch. "Freddy, come here," he told the bear. "There's an animatronic in a box."

--- freddy had never known how fast he could move until he met gregory. a single call from the child and he was tearing through the hallways, looking desperately around for him.
an animatronic stuck in a box? that was...unusual. he finally made it down to the loading dock where gregory's call had come from.
and there he was, unharmed, thankfully. he's at his side in an instant, looking down. he removes the board from atop the box, peering inside--a rabbit. for a moment, he went rigid, wondering if it was bonnie. he missed bonnie more than anything. but it wasn't; this rabbit was...pink.
that's different. he's never seen a pink rabbit before.
"i've never seen this before, gregory," he admits, leaning down slightly to get a better look at her. "who are you?" this is a predicament. he'd threaten to call security, but that would compromise gregory's position, and that's the last thing he wants to do. "what is your business here?"

Big green eyes blinked rapidly as they adjusted to no longer being surrounded by the darkness of the crate. It was almost a creepy sight, to have a sentient being lie in a box in, like some sort of coffin, in wait of a human to activate them. Bonnet figured a child counted, so technically, she wasn't misbehaving!
Her eyes focused on the other animatronic, a bear, this had to be this location's Freddy. He didn't look anything like her old Freddy. "I'm Bonnet Funtime!" she said matter of factly, hands grabbing the edges of the box to push herself on a sitting position. "I live here now, I was transferred two days ago. I don't know what my business is yet, but I've been in this box too long." she held one hand out to the bear. "You must be this place's Freddy. Nice to meet you!"
Bonnet's attention then turned to the child, he was so little and so adorable, and it'd been way over two days since the last time she'd gotten to be around any children. She jumped out of the box, legs wobbling due to the time spent in the box and the lowered battery, so she fell to her knees in front of him.
"You're the cutest little munchkin!" she squealed, and was about to pick him up when Gregory stepped away and she paused, pink faux fur covered ears dropping against the back of her head before they perked and began turning in every direction. Head tilting in concern. "There's only one other human in the facility, what are you doing here?"

--- freddy watches her as she gets her bearings; she seems rather excitable. it was nice to have someone more upbeat. the others had been...confused and angry, as of late. he shook her hand, guard dropping slightly. "i'm freddy fazbear, yes, of the glamrock animatronics," he introduces. "this is gregory."
when she reaches for him, his grip tightens on gregory's hand just slightly. just in case. he's far over protective of him. "bonnet...funtime? that is odd, i don't believe i have ever heard of you. were you the funtime bonnie?" he asks, even though the name made him sad. but maybe it was a blessing in disguise; maybe he could make friends with this rabbit.

"Freddy of the glamrock animatronics, and Gregory!" Bonnet repeated, wanting to make sure that she remembered the names. Her eyes narrowed into a smile that was first directed at Freddy, then the child. "It's nice to meet you both!" her gaze turned back to Freddy. "Yes, I guess you could say that! I was at Funtime Freddy's Pizza World, my brother Bon Bon is still there. Manager got a call saying your pizzeria needed a rabbit and since ours had two, they sent me!"
She flinches, both long ears pointing to the left and slightly upwards. "There's someone banging on a wall," Bonnet said, brows shifting into a frown.
"Monty must be close," the boy, Gregory, spoke. "You can hear him?"
"These big ears aren't for show," Bonnet pointed, shaking her head to move them. "Is that Monty your brother, little munchkin, or a friend?" she hadn't ever heard that name before.

--- he gives her a bit of an uneasy smile, quite like the one constantly plastered on his lips, etched in metal, but slightly wider to be noticeable. he's still nervous around newcomers, especially...new rabbits.
his history with bonnie was one thing, but gregory's got a rabbit problem too, so... now he's wary. he realizes that they both dodged her question previously, but he wasn't going to out gregory if he didn't want to be outed. he wasn't sure if bonnet was trustworthy just yet.
"monty?" that's bad news. "montgomery gator, he's another glamrock animatronic. he's...aggressive, more than usual." he broke bonnie. "and the others are already acting out tonight, so we best stay away best we can."

"A gator?!" she gasped, turning between the bear and the boy for some sort of explanation. Why would the pizzaplex have a gator, and an aggressive one at that? Gators weren't friendly animals... Bonnet supposed foxes and bears weren't either, but those were child favorites! She'd never heard of children that liked gators.
Animatronics acting out, being aggressive, a child left loose after what she could tell were closing hours... it all sounded like a deja vu. She didn't remember much from the very first pizzeria she was in, back when she was merely one of a set of interchangeable hand puppets for her first Freddy to manipulate, but it sounded... familiar.
Her knees wobbled as she pushed herself to her feet. "I need to move to charge," she said, marching in place just to get some motion into her limbs and keep her battery from reaching critic levels. "So I'm not against getting out of here, because I think someone's coming– is there a security guard?"

--- "he's not...supposed to be scary--and he usually isn't! he's just...been...different lately."
gregory would have to take his word for it.
he glances at the limping animatronic, offering an arm to hold herself up. "there's a recharge station this way. you said there's a security guard coming?" more bad news. "we can't let her see us. something isn't right with her, either. we're going to have to be fast."

Bonnet accepted the help, wrapping her arm around his for support as she flexed her legs at the knees to get the oil flowing through her joints.
"Thank you, Freddy," she said before focusing her attention on listening around. "I can tell there's another human in the building, but their heartbeat is... weird, it was normal before, now it's slow... maybe they're just too far away." or maybe they needed help, but neither Freddy nor the child seemed to trust this person.
Something isn't right with her. Another deja vu, there'd been something wrong with a security guard once... somewhere, the memories of times directly before she was placed in this new body were really cloudy in her mind.
"You can hear heartbeats?" Gregory questioned her, understandably wary. "Why?"
Bonnet had an understanding look in her eyes. "It sound scary, doesn't it? But it's a security measure from my old body. My Bon Bon and I were... much smaller, even smaller than you." she let her free hand hover over the boy's head, he was truly really small as she held onto Freddy for support as they walked. Then, the small compartment in her chest opened and she pulled out an old, slightly stained photo of a white and pink panda bear animatronic with a pink bunny animatronics handpuppet where his right hand should be. He was rounder than the glamrock model, with a face that was divided in four sections instead of two. "We were part of my old home's Freddy's handpuppets act because the stage there wasn't big enough to fit all band members, so we —my brother and I— didn't have legs, and we took turns to sing with Freddy. If we heard anything strange, we were supposed to tell him, and he'd run to give whoever was in trouble a hand... he's a good big bear, I hope he's alright."
